BACKGROUND:

In accordance with IECRE OD-500:2016, the Executive Secretary of the IECRE recommends ratification, by the WE-OMC Member Bodies, of:

• DTU Wind Energy

as an RETL within the IECRE System for its identified scope.

See the testing laboratory summary assessment report summary distributed separately as
WE-OMC/245/IAR.

If ratified by the WE-OMC, and as per the rules, the REMC will be subsequently requested to ratify the decision. It should be noted that, upon acceptance by the WE-OMC, the candidate RETL may begin operating as an accepted IECRE testing laboratory (RETL), up to and including the issuance of IECRE Test Reports.

ACTION:
WE-OMC Member Bodies to ratify DTU Wind Energy as an RETL within the IECRE System, for its identified scope.

WE-OMC Member Bodies are requested to vote on the ratification no later than
2017-12-01.

NOTE: USNC/IECRE ballots to be submitted within two weeks to allow for resolution of any comments prior to the IEC deadline.
