BACKGROUND:

In accordance with IECRE 05 (RoP), the SG551 of the IECRE requests the update of the current OD-551-12, which is based on the previous Edition 1.0 (2005) of the standard IEC 61400-12-1, according to the new requirements as per the new Edition 2.0 (2017-03).

The SG-551 will be developing that update.

ACTION:

WE-OMC Member Bodies to assign SG551 to update OD-551-12 according to IEC 61400-12-1 Edition 2.0 (2017-03).

WE-OMC Member Bodies are requested to vote on the approval no later than 2019-06-30.

NOTE: USNC/IECRE ballots are to be submitted within two weeks to allow for resolution of any comments prior to the IEC deadline.
