BACKGROUND:

In accordance with IECRE OD-550-1:2018, the Executive Secretary of the IECRE recommends approval, by the WE-OMC Member Bodies, of China Classification Society Certification Company (CCSC) as RECB within the IECRE System. See the certification body assessment report distributed separately as WE-OMC/405/IAR.

The Executive Secretary has reviewed the requirements for acceptance of the RECB for Type Certification during the transition period and has found that the above entity meets the procedural requirements and hereby submits the Summary Assessment Report, approved by the peer assessment team with a recommendation for approval as a RECB, for consideration and approval by the WE-OMC membership. If approved by the WE-OMC Member Bodies, and as per the rules, the REMC will be requested to ratify the decision. However, the RECB may begin operating as an accepted IECRE certification body (RECB), up to and including the issuance of IECRE Certificates for Type Certification.
ACTION:
WE-OMC Member Bodies to approve Fundación CENER-CIEMAT (CENER) as an RETL within the IECRE System, for its identified scope.
