Description

Background:
Since the start of IECRE we have worked with two transition phases in IECRE-Wind.
The first transition phase is described in WE-OMC/012/DV (with an update in WE-OMC/052/DFA);
the second transition phase is described in WE-OMC/198/DV. As described in the latter document,
this transition phase ended on 31-Aug-2018 and for the first time since the start of IECRE we are
now running under our own steam based on the Rules of Procedure and operational documents
the member bodies have approved for IECRE-Wind.

Action:
WE-OMC to take note of the content of this document which describes the changes due to the
ending of the Extended Transition Period.
WE-OMC to decide that that the appointment of a Lead Assessor can be made by the Executive
Secretary and WE-OMC chair jointly and that this will be updated in the RoP in the next revision of
the RoP.
WE-OMC to consider of the periods set for review and balloting under section 5.4 of the RoP need
to be increased now that we have ended the Extended Transition Period.

NOTE: USNC/IECRE ballots to be submitted within two weeks to allow for resolution of any comments prior to the IEC deadline.
