Description

BACKGROUND:
In accordance with IECRE 05 (RoP), the Executive Secretary of the IECRE recommends the approval, by the WE-OMC Member Bodies, of:

• Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult

as an RETL within the IECRE System for its identified scope.

See the testing laboratory summary assessment report distributed separately as
WE-OMC/314/IAR.

It should be noted that, upon acceptance by the WE-OMC, the candidate RETL may begin operating as an accepted IECRE testing laboratory (RETL), up to and including the issuance of IECRE Test Reports. If approved by the WE-OMC, and as per the rules, the REMC will be subsequently requested to endorse the decision.

ACTION:
WE-OMC Member Bodies to approve Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult as an RETL within the IECRE System, for its identified scope.

WE-OMC Member Bodies are requested to vote on the approval no later than
2018-09-02.

NOTE: USNC/IECRE ballots to be submitted within two weeks to allow for resolution of any comments prior to the IEC deadline.
