Background:

On 2017-04-06 & 07, during the 6th WE-OMC meeting in Golden, Colorado, USA, in the Minutes (WE-OMC/167/RM), it was noted that Testing Laboratories are now encouraging the use of IECRE Test Reports (taken from item 10 Feedback from Stakeholder Groups, SG 551 verbal report).

The Draft IECRE Test Report template, developed by the Secretariat and reviewed by the WE-OMC Chair and SG 551 Convener, is being submitted to the Member Bodies for approval, with the agreement by the IECRE Chair. The Member Bodies are requested to review and approve the layout and content of the template.

The certificate number nomenclature string is as follows:

IECRE.WE.TR.BT.yy-000X-R0
IECRE.WE.TR.xx.yy-000X-R0

where “WE” represents wind energy, “TR” is test report, “”yy” is the initial issued year, “000X” is the sequential Test Report number provided by the Secretariat – “R0” is the revision # where “0” is the initial Test Report without revision and each revision thereafter is sequentially increased by 1, (e.g. R1, R2). The Test Report nomenclature may change slightly in the future to accommodate the ME sector’s deliverables. The Test Report template will be a down-loadable, static, word document. Only the cover template will be posted on the website, not the whole Test Report.

In accordance with the IEC CA 01, Basic Rules, clause 7.5 k), the layout and content of system deliverables shall be approved by the REMC Member Bodies: therefore the Draft IECRE Test Report template is being submitted to the Member Bodies for approval.

Action:

The IECRE Member Bodies to approve the layout and content of the Draft IECRE Test Report template. Ballots are to be returned to the IECRE Secretariat ([email protected]) no later than 2017-07-10.
