Background:

As per REMC/425/DC sent out on 2020-02-24, IECRE Member Bodies were requested to provide their comments on the Draft OD-405 Edition 3 – IECRE Quality System Requirements for PV Module Manufacturers – Part 1: Requirements for certification no later than 2020-04-24. Comments were received and REMC/444/CC was published on 2020-04-28.

Comments received were reviewed by WG 409 and their response to the comments is included in REMC/444A/CC, published in the same timeline that this voting document is being published. OD-405 Edition 3 includes the updated text based on the comments received and is being submitted for approval to the membership.

Action:

The REMC Member Bodies to approve Draft OD-405 Edition 3 – IECRE Quality System Requirements for PV Module Manufacturers – Part 1: Requirements for certification. Ballots are to be returned to the IECRE Secretariat ([email protected]) no later than
2020-06-22.

NOTE: USNC/IECRE ballots are to be submitted within thirty days to allow for resolution of any comments prior to the IEC deadline.
