BACKGROUND:
On 2019-05-21 WE-OMC/418/DV was sent to WE-OMC Member Bodies who were requested to provide approval of Korea Institute of Materials Sciences (KIMS – WTRC) as an RETL. The results of voting (WE-OMC/442/RV) were published on 2019-07-12. Out of the 11 WE-OMC voting Member Bodies, 11 voted in favour of Korea Institute of Materials Sciences (KIMS – WTRC) to operate as RETL for Blade testing.

Therefore, in accordance with the approved IECRE Rules, this is now being submitted for ratification to the REMC.

ACTION:
The REMC Member Bodies to ratify Korea Institute of Materials Sciences (KIMS – WTRC) for RETL status, effective immediately. Ballots are to be returned to the IECRE Secretariat ([email protected]) no later than 2019-08-27.

NOTE: USNC/IECRE ballots are to be submitted within two weeks to allow for resolution of any comments prior to the IEC deadline.
