BACKGROUND:
During the 2019-05-09/10 meeting in Pretoria, South Africa, the WE-OMC tasked the Chair with the development of an additional list of standards for use in the WE-OMC. Below you will find the additional list of standards provided by the WE-OMC Chair which have been approved by the WE-OMC Member Bodies as WE-OMC Decision 11/2019:
The WE-OMC approved adding the standards listed in WE-OMC/401/DFA and requested that the Secretariat take necessary steps towards REMC approval (see WE-OMC/401/DFA published on 2019-03-15)

According to IECRE 02 Annex A, A.1.3, these standards are now being submitted to the REMC Member Bodies for approval:

A.1 Schemes, Rules, Procedures and Standards
A.1.3 Define the scope, requirements and applicable standards to be used for each scheme approved by the REMC for its sector.

ACTION:
REMC Member Bodies to approve the list of standards for use in the WE-OMC. IECRE Member Bodies are requested to vote on the approval no later than
2019-07-12.

NOTE: USNC/IECRE ballots are to be submitted within two weeks to allow for resolution of any comments prior to the IEC deadline.
