BACKGROUND:
On 2019-03-28 WE-OMC/404/DV was sent to WE-OMC Member Bodies who were requested to provide approval of China Classification Society Certification Company (CCSC) as RECB by 2019-05-12. The results of voting (WE-OMC/412/RV) were published on 2019-05-13. The majority of WE-OMC Member Bodies voted in favour of China Classification Society Certification Company (CCSC) to operate as an RECB.

Therefore, in accordance with the approved IECRE Rules, this is now being submitted for ratification to the REMC.

ACTION:
The REMC Member Bodies to ratify China Classification Society Certification Company (CCSC) for RECB status, effective immediately. Ballots are to be returned to the IECRE Secretariat ([email protected]) no later than 2019-06-27.

NOTE: USNC/IECRE ballots are to be submitted within two weeks to allow for resolution of any comments prior to the IEC deadline.
