BACKGROUND:

The component certificate template was developed by SG 550 and discussed with WG 501.

On 2017-11-14 WE-OMC/250/DV was sent to WE-OMC Member Bodies who were requested to provide approval of the Component Certificate template. The final results of voting (WE-OMC/265/RV) were published on 2018-02-19. The majority of WE-OMC Member Bodies voted in favour of the Component Certificate template.

Therefore, in accordance with the Basic Rules, this is now being submitted for approval to the REMC.

ACTION:

The REMC Member Bodies to approve the Component Certificate. Ballots are to be returned to the IECRE Secretariat ([email protected]) no later than 2018-04-05.

NOTE: USNC/IECRE ballots to be submitted within two weeks to allow for resolution of any comments prior to the IEC deadline.
