BACKGROUND:

On 2017-12-05 PV-OMC/124/DV was sent to PV-OMC Member Bodies who were requested to provide approval of TÜV Rheinland Japan Ltd. as an REIB. The results of voting (PV-OMC/156/RV) were published on 2018-01-22. The majority of PV-OMC Member Bodies voted in favour of TÜV Rheinland Japan Ltd. as REIB.

Therefore, in accordance with IEC CA 01, clause 7.5 h), this is now being submitted for approval to the REMC.

ACTION:

The REMC Member Bodies to approve TÜV Rheinland Japan Ltd. for REIB status, effective immediately. Ballots are to be returned to the IECRE Secretariat ([email protected]) no later than 2018-03-08.

NOTE: USNC/IECRE ballots to be submitted within two weeks to allow for resolution of any comments prior to the IEC deadline.
