BACKGROUND:
WG 401 submitted the list of applicable standards (on page 3), as per Decision 04/2017 taken at the sixth PV-OMC meeting in Budapest on 2017-06-21 & 22:

The PV-OMC assigned WG 401 to review the standard series from Annex A of IECRE 04 Edition 1, and to make a proposal to the PV-OMC regarding which Parts, Editions and Amendments are to be included in the PV scope in the IECRE website. Once input is received from WG 401, the Secretariat will revise Annex A of IECRE 04 by making reference to the scope that is identified on the website under: http://www.iecre.org/certification/iecstandards/ and, thereby removing the table of standards from Annex A. The Secretariat will submit both the detailed standards listing and IECRE 04 Edition 2 to the PV-OMC for approval. Subsequently, IECRE 04 Edition 2 will be submitted to the REMC for approval.

Once the list of applicable standards has been approved by the PV membership, the IECRE 04 Edition 2 will be submitted for approval and the list of standards will be added to the webpage of the IEC standards operated by the IECRE.

PV-OMC Member Bodies to take note of the voting requirements in IECRE 02, clause 4.1.4:
Each Member Body has one vote.
Comments received on any DV or DFA shall be responded to by the relevant WG, SG or TF.
All other voting requirements are as per IECRE 01.

Since IEC CA 01 and IECRE 01-S have replaced IECRE 01, the following applies:
IEC CA 01 clause 12.2
Voting by correspondence utilizes the following process:
a) documents requiring vote are circulated to the Member Bodies by the Secretariat with the approval of the Chair;
b) b) Member Bodies are provided 45 days (12 weeks for amendments to the Basic Rules and Rules of Procedure, see 12.4) for electronic open comment and dialogue along with Member Body vote
c) c) if substantive comments are received, Member Bodies are provided 30 additional days for review of comments, dialogue and submission of Member Body final vote.
Therefore, per item b) above, we are providing the members with 45 days to to vote on the approval of the IEC standards operated by the IECRE for the PV sector.

ACTION:
PV-OMC Member Bodies to consider the approval of the IEC standards operated by the IECRE for the PV sector.
PV-OMC Member Bodies are requested to vote on the approval no later than
2017-10-15.

NOTE: USNC/IECRE ballots to be submitted within two weeks to allow for resolution of any comments prior to the IEC deadline.
