Should the US vote to approve the new WG 402 Terms of Reference?
BACKGROUND:
As per the minutes of the 2018-04-09/10 PV-OMC meeting held in Shanghai, under agenda item 6.2.1, the PV OMC requested that WG 402 review its Terms of Reference (ToR) (see PV-OMC/148A/RM). WG 402 has provided the below proposed revision to their ToR, PV-OMC members are requested to approve the below proposed new Terms of Reference for WG 402:
The proposed new Terms of Reference are:
– To define assessment procedures and develop necessary Operational Documents to assure that RECB/REIB applicants comply with relevant requirements of the PV sector
– To define the requirements for peer assessment in the PV sector
– To define master templates for certificates and inspection reports as the base for specific documents in the PV sector
Responsible for OD-406 & OD-408 series.
For information, the current Terms of Reference for PV-OMC WG 402 Assessment
Procedures are:
– To define assessment procedures and documentation required for RECB/REIB applicants in IECRE PV sector.
– To develop necessary Operational Documents in terms of assessment procedure, to assure that RECB/REIB applicants comply with relevant requirements of the IECRE PV sector
– To define the requirements for peer assessment at RECB/REIB applicant’s facilities or at PV system installation sites according to IECRE and PV sector requirements; using the relevant assessment report template, test report template, standards and equipment lists
Responsible for OD-406 & OD-408 series.
ACTION:
PV-OMC Member Bodies to approve the new Terms of Reference for WG 402. Ballots are to be returned no later than 2018-10-04.
NOTE: USNC/IECRE ballots to be submitted within two weeks to allow for resolution of any comments prior to the IEC deadline.
