Background

Following the cancellation of plenary meeting that originally planned in Chennai, India, an interim online meeting via ZOOM was held from 16th – 17th March 2020. The purpose of this online meeting was mainly for discussion on the active projects with convenors and project leaders. Any identified decision will be sent for official voting through the IEC Voting system. Enclosed you can find the meeting minutes taken during the interim online meeting in March 2020. The recommendations taken during the online meeting are now submitted to P-members for approval. The approved recommendations will be noted as “decision by correspondence” in the minutes after the closing of the ballot. TC 88 officers has also planned to submit the progress report to SMB, and P-members who responded to this questionnaire (either abstain, positive or negative vote) will be counted in the P-member participation statistic.

IEC TC 88 P-members are requested to approve and comment the following:
1. Do you endorse the attached meeting minutes or is there any other comments to be added?

2. Do you approve the Recommendation 1: The target date for the 61400-8 CD is 2020-03 and PT 61400-8 requests for a 6 months extension until 2020-09?

3. Do you approve the Recommendation 2: The target date for the 61400-11-2 CD is 2020-06 and PT 61400-11-2 requests for a 7 months extension until 2021-01?

4. Do you approve the Recommendation 3: Target dates for the 61400-15-1 CD is 2020-06 and the 61400-15-2 CD is 2020-12?

5. Do you approve the Recommendation 4: The target date for the 61400-21-4 CD is 2020-03 and WG 21 requests for a 7 months extension until 2020-10?

6. Do you approve the Recommendation 5: The target date for the 61400-26-4 CD is 2020-04 and WG 26 requests for a 6 months extension until 2020-10?

7. Do you approve the Recommendation 6: The target date for the 61400-28 CD is 2019-12 and PT 61400-28 requests for a 6 months extension until 2020-06?
